Run Around Kit all week. 2016 MacBook Pro on battery and tethered to a Canon 5D MKIV for another round of catalogue shooting. MBP for me and whoever’s watching over my shoulder and an iPad Pro on magic arm for the photographer and stylist to see what’s happening. All riding on a DigiPlate Pro with Hood mounted to a Gitzo Tripod and powered by a 230Wh Gold Mount Battery (ALL DAY) and backed up a 2x G-Tech SSDs

Run Around Break Down | Jackson Hole, WY

Everything you need for 10-12 hrs/day of running around the mountains for a week of catalogue shooting. The Run Around Kit has a 2016 Macbook Pro mounted to a Digiplate with hood on sticks. External battery, the client hard drive, a USB-C dongle, and a magic arm with an iPad Pro attached as a second display are all mounted under the Digiplate. A GTech SSD secondary backup and color checker ride in pockets and a backpack near by has spare batteries, a variety of chargers, spare cables, iPad mini, portable router, card readers, another laptop, more hard drives, layers of clothing, snacks, water, etc.

Back up on the Pro Studio Kit. Wheelin around with 2x 24” NEC Displays and a 2016 6-core MacPro with 32GB of ram. This week tethered to a Nikon D850 and backing up to 3x GTech SSDs. All riding on an Inovativ Scout 37. Courtesy cupholders and hooks for Producers*, ADs, and Photographers.

Sometimes the whole kit can’t make it out. For this shot, it wasn’t realistic to run power to the cart so we broke out the laptop, grabbed the tether cord, and set up 2x floppies to cover all three of us. Tethered to a Nikon D850 with a 2016 MacBook Pro and transferred the folders captured outside to the cart when complete. Backups happening to facilitate the move on GTechnology SSD’s for a fast merger and Anker batteries keeping us powered.

2015 MacBook Pro running downloads/uploads and printing. Simple office workflow for eight days in Amsterdam and London. Cards dropped mid-afternoon and late evening every day after the events. Select, process, upload and print for guests and qualifiers to see just an hour or so after their excursions end. Had a little bit of retouching on the side with a 2016 Macbook Pro and Small Wacom tablet.

Offloading XQD cards to the Pro Studio Kit on this one. Files coming from a Nikon D850 and D5. Capture management, setting looks, processing and backing up to GTech SSD’s on a 2013 MacPro with 2x NEC Displays.

Run Around Kit on the mountain side. Hiked up from Emerald Bay to the waterfall for a couple looks. 2016 Macbook Pro under the hood with an iPad Pro on the backside so everyone can see. Power all day supplied by a 230Wh Gold Mount battery and tethered to a Canon 5D MKIV.
