Run Around on an Airplane somewhere..

Run Around Plus kit on a plane somewhere. A 16” display one section back is set up for the client to review and an iPad Pro for the photographer five rows up keep me in the galley and out of the way and out of the aisles.

Brought the Power+ Common Kit to Virginia to work around a couple hospitals recently. A Bluetti AC200Max powers the Common Kit all day and more. Wireless 16” display floating around for anyone watching. LVNA tethering me to a Nikon Z9.

On Set in Park City

In Park City for a couple days of lifestyle and automobiles. Run Around Kit and a few tether cables; nothing crazy. Keep those connections dry!

Pro Studio Kit: 2x 24” NEC displays for client and photographer’s viewing, 1x 27” NEC Display for myself, tethered to a Nikon D850, while also card swapping off of an additional D850 and D5. Ran a laptop for card offload and renaming so that the main tether and processing machine (2016 MacPro) wouldn’t miss a beat.

Last job before lockdown - Loaded up to load in to the studio. Pro Studio Kit, client Chairs/lights/softboxes/tripod. 2x 24” NEC displays for client and photographer’s viewing, 1x 27” NEC Display for myself, tethered to a Nikon D850, while also card swapping off of an additional D850 and D5. Ran a laptop for card dumping and renaming so that the main tether and processing machine (2016 MacPro) wouldn’t miss a beat or get slowed down. Don’t forget to leave room for the dog! She’s a leggy beast.

Pro Studio Kit +

MacPro, one 27” NEC Display and one 24” NEC Display on an Inovativ Scout37 with one wireless 24” NEC Display about 75 yards back and upstairs in an air conditioned part of the recycling facility. Tethered to a Phase One IQ1 50MP.

Light/Tech/Shoot/Retouch

Called in by production to shoot stills of a couple new meals while they wrap up the video portion. For each shot we used 6 heads. One D2 on the background, two Profoto heads for the edges powered by a Profoto 8A, one profoto head powered by another 8A as the key, one Profoto Zoom Spot also plugged in to it’s own 8A, and a Bronocolor Pico light with spot adapter. Everything was shot on a Canon 5D mkiv and tethered to the Common Kit: a 27” display and Macbook Pro on a Inovativ Scout 37. Scrims skinned with a variety of Lee diffusion to shape the light.
